Privacy Policy

This page explains what data VowNow collects, how we use it, and what your rights are.

What we collect

• From couples: when you submit an inquiry on a listing — your name, email, optional phone number, and the message you write.
• From vendors: when you sign up — your email address (via Supabase auth) and any business information you add to your profile (business name, phone, website, bio, photos).
• From everyone: basic technical data your browser sends — IP address, user agent, pages visited. Used for spam prevention and aggregate analytics.

How we use it

• Forwarding inquiries to the relevant vendor by email so they can reply to you.
• Authenticating vendors and showing them their own listings and inquiries in the vendor portal.
• Sending magic-link sign-in emails (vendors) and inquiry notification emails (vendors).
• Aggregate analytics to understand which listings get traffic and improve the product.

Who we share it with

• Vendors see the inquiries submitted on their own listings (your name, email, optional phone, and message).
• Service providers: Supabase (database and auth), Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email). They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
• We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep vendors signed in and to remember in-progress listing drafts in the browser. We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can email hello@vownow.co to request a copy of the data we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it. Vendors can also delete their account directly from the portal (when that is shipped — for now, email us).

International users

VowNow is operated from the United States. If you’re in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA — we honor those rights even though our service is US-based.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change.
